Penguin New Zealand has announced it will be publishing the widely anticipated Katherine Mansfield: The Story-teller by Kathleen Jones. The work is due for release in Mid-2010
Kathleen Jones' agent Isobel Dixon of Blake Friedmann Literary Agency says: 'We felt it was vital to have a good New Zealand publisher on board for this important new biography first.' Dixon is now offering the book in other countries...
Penguin New Zealand predicts that publication of the new biography will be a major literary event. Says publishing director Geoff Walker: ‘There hasn't been a big new definitive Mansfield biography for several decades. That in itself is reason enough to publish a new book about her life and work.
