Artistic resource in book form: 'My Life After Kathleen Mansfield Beauchamp'

Rachel Bernard was born in France in August 1967. In 1993, she graduated from both the Fine Art school of Lyon and from the University of Lyon 2, France and started to teach English and French as a second Languages. At that time, she came across Katherine Mansfield's Journals. While reading them, some words and sentences triggered glimpses in her mind like stars in the very dark of the night. She then decided to capture these sparkles of truth through miniature images she made with an Exacto knife. She did not know then that My Life after Kathleen Mansfield Beauchamp would be a 17 year long journey. Rachel has recently enrolled in a PhD program at the University of Lyon to complete a comparative study on Auto-fiction in French, English and American contemporary Art and literature.
