Villa Flora, Menton - France

Send passports to Genoa. [KM Notebooks]

God mend all! I've had no letters today, my darling. As the time passes I get awfully impatient for letters. Today fortnight we shall be in Paris. Oh, my plans for the future! Oh Bogey will you really want to be alone with me as I shall with you? Will you really say: darling I must have you to myself and mean it beyond words. To be in a room with you - hear you - close, seeing you, hearing you, watching you -my heart. To look after you again and see that you [have] lovely food & that all is in exquisite order. Oh, will it matter to you - having a wife? Will you ask people to dine with us & will you ask me sometimes to lunch or come to tea with me? Oh - to love as I love you!!
Know that Jaegar wooly you bought me. I got a skirt of the same stuff today - all wooly and furry. It looks the spit of Broomies with a very funny hat which might have been made of chopped bracken. Its the best country ensemble lve ever seen because its very amusing but at the same time it is distinguished.  [To J. M. Murry in Collected Letters, 14 April 1920]
