Villa Isola Bella, Menton, France

Dearest Ottoline,
Are you still in Lausanne? Is there a possible chance of our seeing each other? I am sending this letter just in case. If I don’t hear from you I will write to Garsington.
I can’t tell you how glad I was to hear from you, and how sorry to know you have been in such pain. It’s devilish! I hope the doctor did find out what was causing it and succeed in really helping you.
All news when I hear from you. If you would come here for a night as my guest . . . Would you? Then we could really talk. That is my – I hope it doesn’t sound wild - idear.
Yours ever with love,
Katherine.
